What's your favorite Linux distro? I have Mandiva and Ubuntu installed on my machine and I must say that this two are my favorite distros. Ease of use and stability are the factors that made me say that I like them. Even my mom use to use Linux on my old machine(OpenOffice).
I've been playing with Linux since Slackware 7 and since then I have been an avid fan of Linux. You? Whats your favorite distro?

aheheh! cool! :)
I'm really a Windows user loving the Linux environment. I also have one machine running on Windows but I have the my Linux installs as Virtual Machines using Virtual PC. I use Mandrake and Ubuntu once in a while kasi I do some Java, PHP and Mono development on the side(I'm currently a .NET developer) doing some apps and beta testing for some clients and friends. I think i got hooked to Linux because of curiousity.

now want to learn more, kahit medyo huli na ako ..
the last time I used Linux was two years ago. Mandrake pa noon (Mandriva na ngayon). Last night, I used a Mono Live just to delete a folder with virus in windows. Hehe.
I've been using Ubuntu Linux for two year already. So far, it is a nice alternative to Windows when I feel like it. Besides that, I feel much more comfortable developing programs there than I do in Windows. Perhaps it was because of way too much propaganda by one of my professor about how Ubuntu is a safe programming environment.
So, you might find me programming something in Ubuntu more often than programming in Windows. But given that I am beginning to explore DirectX, I might find myself programming in Windows more often in the near future.

I love Ubuntu Linux. It's the best distro I've ever used. I have the option of doing things like a geek when I feel like it and the option of doing things the easy way when I'm spooked off of doing things the hard way. :)
I also like the community behind Ubuntu(unlike other distros). They're kind, intelligent and most important of all, understanding like the Java community.
It's been 2 years since I last used Linux... -_-
