We Want Administrator Access!

Published 05-31-2007 3:36 PM

Haha, time for a dark tip. Have you ever wanted to have administrator rights on a computer that you don't own? Did you just forget your own password? If so, just follow these simple steps:

1) Run cmd.
2) Type net user
3) Check the account you want to get into (in our case, Administrator is the target)
4) Type net user Administrator /random
5) Check the new password that appears
6) Restart, then change what ever you like! ;)

This is also useful if you forgot your own password. Just remember to take note of the new randomly generated password. But of course, you can do the procedures again, just in case.

Til next time, enjoy!

Thanks to kabunian for teaching me this. :D

apparently you can't do this in vista, access denied heheh

I think this will work if the account you are using is a member of the administrators group or is the administrator account itself.

@comgen:

not in vista, almost all commands are given limited priviledge unless you elevate its status. so it kinda defeats the scripts purpose.. correct me if Im wrong but its akin to the sudo command in linux to allow to execute with priviledge..
